authorization failed: Could not authenticate to server: rejected Basic challenge, Password for ‘default’ GNOME keyring


Solution: [For Experienced]
Delete this file ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring
by using this Command:
rm ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring

Q: When and why This happend? [Detailed solution for naive]

1) When you want to clone repository from svn and run below command:

svn co repo_url

2) It will ask for GNOME Keyring password:

Password for 'default' GNOME keyring:

3)If you did not set that password before

Delete this file ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring
by using this Command:
rm ~/.gnome2/keyrings/default.keyring

 

4) Then repeat step 1, and it will require

a) password of your system
b) username: username of svn
c) password for 'username': password of svn
d) and it will also pop up window for setting up new password for GNOME keyring
